He founded a governmental adjustment, a tobacco association, which has controlled and decided the tabacoo market.
At first, it was named Cubatobacco, and has later be renamed in Habanos S.A.. Since some years ago the Habanos S.A. has been taken over by the biggest cigar factory association Altadis by 50 %.
